What is MitraClip / TEER?
TEER stands for Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair. During the procedure, a catheter is guided to the heart and the MitraClip device is positioned on the mitral valve. The clip brings the valve leaflets closer together and helps reduce mitral valve leakage.

How is the MitraClip Procedure Performed?

The MitraClip is then positioned on the mitral valve leaflets to reduce abnormal blood leakage. After the procedure, the patient is monitored for heart rhythm, valve function, and recovery.
